  • Other towns in PONToTOC County include: ALLEN (like school chief), BYNG (like black male cherry hole theme), FITzHUGH (like OREO-Unk. TOM LEEs having a FIT over those of true dark HUE threatening turning success), Francis, rOFF (like they ARE OFF, as in CRAZY) and Stonewall (like stalling of alternative coupling, perhaps mixed with one of the world's most respected cults linked to Scottish Rites). Walter LELAND Cronkite is not LELAND Stanford OR congressman George Thomas LELAND (456-70-4194)

  • For what it's worth: Walter LELAND Cronkite succeeded DOUGLAS edWARDS in the anchor chair at the CBS Evening News. edWARDS was born on JULY 14, 1917 (BASTILLE DAY) and died on October 13, 1990. His 252-07-8633 assignment has nothing to do with the 252 telephone area code serving Eastern North Carolina. edWARDS' birthplace, ADA, OK is a TREE CITY USA town and the seat of PONToTOC County, but is unrelated to the "boosting" (not as in stealing, but rather, supporting) Michael Jackson look-a-like

  • I think this guy was much funnier when he played "Captain Kangaroo" on morning TV. I always loved it when he and Mr. Greenjeans french-kissed during station breaks.

  • Truth, justice and integrity in television news retired when he did, and died when he did. All that's left is the American Way. I guess that's why i cannot seem to stop crying!

  • Walter Cronkite is dead. the man awakened me as a 1 yr old child to both the beauty and the horror of the world, in how he covered the Kennedy Assassination, the Moon Landing, the Vietnam War, and Watergate.

  • In other words, DEAD at 92 is Greatly Exaggerated?

  • Thank you Mr. Cronkite. Enjoy the sailing in the sky!

  • goodnight sweet prince

  • Rest in peace!

  • Rest In Peace!!!
