Sharing of tasks is nice, maybe having a way to have categories automatically shared between two phones--could be useful for couples, coworkers, etc.
Also, there are a couple of interface things you could learn from Astrid. I suggest you check them out.
For one, you might consider replacing the due date setting with a "today, tomorrow, specific date, etc." selection, since that's a lot more user-friendly.
Customization is key. You might allow completed tasks to disappear immediately.
