@the43k Tesla offers a base model that starts at $50k and that's after the tax credit. With gas being close to $4 per gallon, over a 5 year period you save about $12k from never putting gas in it. So it's about $38k, not including taxes and financing. That's amazing compared to the; Benz, BMW, Jag, Aston, the Model S is in that class. Tesla has plans of delivering a car to compete with the Volt, Prius & Leaf, so they're mainstream car is coming soon.

Lauren Fix, on Fox News, stated in the YouTube video "Chevy Volt Sales Or Dolt", that her charging cost for 1 week of driving was $100! That's ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! I made a very short rebuttle video showing how, using a Kill-A-Watt meter, it would take her 400 hours of driving & charging time to run up a $100 charging bill. There are only 168 hours in a week! The Video is called "Chevy Volt Sales Or Dolt: Rebuttle. They call themselves reporters. Walter Cronkite is rolling in his grave!

I sure to god that when he said ..."Its a Fred Flintstones car" it just made clear that Fox news are a bunch of Jack asses who Fucking hate American engineering. I mean seriously Fred Flintstones, WHAT THE FUCK THE CAR IS A GOD IS A SOFTWARE IN WHEELS, not a car that has stone wheels and is push by ones feet.

@zachkaylee Or simple scientific fact. Go read your bible.
Can you share your thoughts about the Tesla Model S? It's an all electric vehicle built by an American company out of Fremont California. Have you ever considered buying an all electric vehicle?

@M2Lfilms, I think it has the potential to be an amazing car, I've been to their car expo. Its larger and has different upgrades for battery size, all of which far exceed the volt. However, its very expensive. It makes the volt look cheap. You're talking about a car that cost 60 to 80K. I love the technology, but its far from becoming mainstream.
