@RallyReady excuse my spelling mister perfect, but that is what can happen to someone speaks more than two languages. And I do the same question, how come Timo, Marcus Gronholm's co-driver, is not wearing golves? same year as this
-
@bmxpunk2 and don't call me sir, if you don't mind
-
@bmxpunk2 then, how come Timo is not wearing gloves and he wasn't excluded? give a good reason. it was the same year as this video
-
@JCPinia I have checked the rule book many times sir, as I am co-driving it this year in the Pikes Peak Open division. The rule I posted before is effective as of Nov. 10th, 2010.
@RallyReady Hope to meet up with you on the mountain this year. Good luck in Unlimited, I can't wait to see the new car!

@JCPinia I will agree, it is less than optimal. But the FIA does not govern Pikes Peak and their rule is to have gloves for everyone in the car. It just means you have to get creative how to make pages easily accessible with gloves on.
Here is the rule: 6.7 It is mandatory for the driver/rider/co-driver to wear his or her
helmet, fire suit, shoes, eye protection, gloves, seat belts and
shoulder harnesses and window netting/arm restraints while operating the race vehicle.

@bmxpunk2 been respected or not. doesn't matter. for is way more dangerous missing a page on the pacenotes because of the gloves. Gloves are not obligatory for co-drivers. In fact FIA and FIA NACAM highly recomend to co-drivers not to wear gloves
This video is from 2009. In 2009 co-drivers were required to wear the same safety equipment as drivers. Thanks for doing so much research on the subject and calling a well-respected co-driver dumb. It is much more effective when you spell "wearing" correctly.
