  • i had this procedure done to both of my shoulders in the last three months. it looks painful but is not as bad as everyone says.out and about in just a few days. but carefully

  • you cannot repair a complete tear the tendon dosent heal on its own. I had the surgery about 12 to 13 days ago. its painful but know it was my best chance to get back to normal as possible. I know now why I am in pain after watching that LOL

  • @omnomnom1404 your gonna wish you took that first shoulder to the grave

  • omg i almost puked

  • i hurt mine with bench pressing. the pain stops but then when i go heavy its all over again. if i stay at 225 pounds for 15 reps im ok.. but as soon as i do 275 for 5 reps . its pain time again.. dam. don't no if that surgery would get me back to new or not.? i have a motocross friend who is back to new but he doesn't lift , just rides.

  • this miight be a stupid question right but like what happens to the knot inside you do you feel them against your muscles or bones ? thanks if anyone knows

  • I had both shoulders done - one after the other - the surgery was nothing - compared to the recovery!!!!! Both shoulders are now held together by the finest Americna Nylon (one double anchor - one single). Then the healing starts and you will know what real pain is all about!!!!!!!

  • I have my surgury on abril 28, 2010. I am not sure if i want to do it.

  • I think if tendon is totally severed then don't use this method get it done old fashioned way ( Knife open up GGRR better ) I have to get spurr taken away below my clavicula and have that done with the arthroscope The tear in the tendon will heal over time as it is not totally severed tendon it's partially severed tendon So think about what type of operation is best for you , I understand no one likes scars , doctors are also humans things can go wrong , not their fault Maurice

  • I has this surgery 12 months ago and now have a frozen shoulder. Further surger has been suggested but I am reluctant if it not going to work. So far I am no better off from the first surgery.

  • it takes at least a year to heal, but it doesnt really heal 100%, your lucky if you get 80% back, I had surgery done twice on my shoulder, I am still trying to get at least 80% back... and it really sucks, you can't really do anything to speed up the healing...

  • mine was $8,000
