There's a big difference between being "liberal" and having basic human decency and respect for others.

To give an example of what I mean, in the book Primetime Propaganda it states Fred Rogers had a "liberal view of humanity" because respecting other people is "liberal". Why do you think conservatives equate self-esteem with entitlement?

The fact is there's a reason why shows don't promote humiliating gays or spanking kids and it has nothing to do with being "liberal."

At 7:00 is the perfect example why many comedians like you, you know, the conservative ones, might have a problem to get promoted. What could have been a good laugh at the end of this video was made into a lame excuse for a joke. Are you afraid that people don't get it when you make a joke about yourself? You advertise anything with your timing, hey, now I am being serious, and now, recognize the different timing, I am making a funny.

Its terrible and it is a pattern in conservative "comedy"

Imagine all the "welfare" people required to work cleaning streets, parks, sidewalks, and public areas. Others doing roadside clean up, basic grounds keeping, it would save the country billions.

Imagine if they tried that in the US? Every person getting unemployment, section 8, food stamps, ect were all put to work doing unskilled or low skill jobs for the government.

@lonestar2078 I was impressed with how the Spanish handled government assistance. When receiving it you were required to work, if handicapped or retired they would have you work in a Kiosk. If young and healthy you cleaned public areas, streets, parks ect. Of course you were also required upon turning 18 to either serve in the military or in public service jobs for two years. It would never work here because you were not paid a wage.
