Jonathan Krohn Responds to Attacks From Conservative Former Fans

As some conservative pundits were shocked to learn earlier this week, kids go through significant changes in their political beliefs during their teenage years, too.

Jonathan Krohn, who at 13 fired up conservatives attending CPAC, has shifted away from social conservatism four years later, and following an article in Politico about the shift this week has had to defend his change of heart. Now 17, Krohn—who currently supports gay marriage, Obamacare, and pro-choice efforts—has been criticized everywhere from site the Daily Caller to Fox News for changing his mind. One commentator even suggested he would have left the boy in the woods to die as a baby.

The wrath of former fans may not be a huge surprise, considering the self-described independent, who can't vote yet, says he would probably cast a ballot for the re-election for President Obama in November. "There have been a lot of people on the right," says Krohn, "who have attacked me viciously." National politics: not so different from the gossip and popularity games of high school, after all.

Things can change. The incentive system in washington needs to change. If the people pushed for publically funded elections as well as making it a punishable offense for working for the same industry you once regulated while a politician.

Resistance is futile grasshopper. For time will go on and nothing will change in this class system in which we live. Most wealthy families only stay wealthy for five generations. Washington is corrupt beyond corruption nothing will change for there exist not enough time in our lives to make a difference in steming the tides that be. What makes you think that the Republican party will be any better. They just produced the worst President in history with W. What makes you think that putting the croni capitalist, and globalist back in office will serve the public better. Obama did not cause the bailouts they were already in place. Dodd / Frank does not deregulate the markets. Your arguments are without merit. If Romney does not buy the Presidency this year. He can run for President in France. Money is the root of all evil

Im not in favor of bailouts, reduction to entitlements, deregulation in the financial markets, endless war, tax cuts for the uber wealthy, war on drugs aka war on americans, and I think whistleblowers should be protected not tortured so I will definetly NOT be voting for Obama.
