This was the last video I have of my dear, beloved cat, Mogu. I left him in the hospital for a day and a half and he still did not make any progress. The doctor gave me the worst news: that he had little chance of recovery. What's worse: I could not finance expensive surgical procedures that were required to ensure he could eat (the broken jaw prevented him from eating anything). He was never going to be the same and he would have to go undergo many more months of pain before getting better (if he does at all).

I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life: to put this innocent, precious life to sleep. Mogu died minutes after taking this video. He was finally free from his intolerable pain.

I still remember my beautiful Mogu every time I close my eyes. I will never forget him.

Don't listen to ur vet. My cat came home Saturday in the same exact condition and I live in the woods with only 8 neighbors in the adjoining row homes and they are all nice people with pets too and they know my cat well. There are no people that could have done this. I followed her blood trail coming from the road and there were skid marks on the street. Many times they miss the blunt of the car and get swiped by the tire.

I suspect the same happened to my cat. A direct car hit would've killed him and ended his suffering. But whatever struck him took him must have been very fast and took him by surprise. I found his tongue was stuck to the roof of his mouth. A very fast moving car that was not visible to Mogu could've done this.

100 % sure that someone kicked him straight in the face. Damage like that the cat is pretty much done, here we can have cheap insurance for house pets, what covers any treatmen with no limits.

@jackdanieels Unfortunately (or fortunately) I will never know what caused him to suffer like this. It pains me to embellish such thoughts. I just hope perpetrator gets what's coming either in this life or the next.
