Just something I've been working on for a little while. All I did was import a character (using my custom rig), set up the animations in Max, and then added the scripts to make it work the way I wanted it to.
**I'm missing the first half of this video because, for some reason, it decided not to record what I was saying for that half, so all you get is the game part.
--------------------------------------------------
Scripts --- I edited the FPSWalker Script to work in a better Third-Person style. The animations are completely custom, and the camera script I found online because it was exactly what I was trying to do.
My Animation Script checks for these things:
---I'm moving forward/backward == Perform the Running Animation
---I'm moving downward and I'm not touching the ground == Perform the Falling animation
---Vice versa for jumping
---If I'm touching the ground and the falling/jumping animation is playing == perform the landing animations
Animations --- I made all the animations, split them, and made them react to my animations script. Without Fraps running, this script works perfectly. You don't get the "I'm falling while I'm on the ground!" effect. I used the exact same model and scripts in another project after I did this. I wanted it to work before I moved it to another file.
Model --- I've never used this model for anything before. Someone from my class may recognize the face/head, but that is because I took this model and edited it for that model (Edited to work in Unreal Tournament 2K4). As you may notice, there's a black line on the neck. It doesn't show up in max, so I'm guessing the UV map on either the head or torso bled into the black space after it got exported.
---Oh oh! By the way! Go ahead and put down in the comments if you would like me to do a "museum" styled level so that you can view my portfolio that way! Wouldn't that be cool? A Virtual Museum of my own stuff from my portfolio! :3
You should make your own level dude! Bring out the creativity in yourself. Your viewers will appreciate the video more.

@10chadjordan01 I actually have, check out the 'Bubblez' Pre-Alpha Preview. This video is a good year old, and it was just me trying to get a character I rigged, into Unity, which was my own personal project. During that same year, -AFTER- I did this, I "learned" how to do it in my classes. I wanted to use a rigged character over a box or ball or something as used in the Tornadotwins tutorials at that time (It helped me get 3rd in this years game fair :3).

@bradleyp118 I have a "how-to" on how to get your character to move in Unity in my newer videos, and I have a download link for the pre-alpha of the game on my personal site (should be in the channel information); it uses the same character and has a lot more animations than run, jump, land, and fall.

@darbeenbo Actually the long transgression of that character was that it was Taichi, a cat, but I needed a biped for my animation assignment, then I wanted to create an animation with Taichi being lovestruck by this character (A slight tweak), but I never got around to it. -THEN- because I wanted to add a walking character, and didn't have any finished models at the time, I used this. For 'Bubblez' I planned on just using an anime girl but no one on the Unity Community wanted me to switch it.
