Minardi F1 Tribute

Tribute to the Minardi F1 Team. It took part at 340 Grand Prix from 1985 to 2005. Only Arrows/Footwork has done more races without a victory. It took 58 Races before Minardi scored their first Point in Detroit, 1988.
It is famous for spotting young talent drivers aswell as to never give up. Thanks for the memories. I tried to name everybody in the video. The song is "Eye of the tiger" by Survivor. Minardí's last Race was in China, 2005. Overall the scored 38 points in 21 seasons. The most successfull Seasons were in the late eightees and early neightees. in 2001, Minardi was bought from Paul Stoddart. Finally they became Scuderia Toro Rosso in 2006 after Paul Stoddart sold the team to Red Bull. Best single reslut in a race were some 4th places.

Huldigung an das Minardi F1 Team. Es nahm in den Jahren zwischen 1985 und 2005 an insgesamt 340 Grand Prix teil. Damit ist es in der Liste der Teilnahmen an Grand Prix auf dem 8. Rang wiederzufinden. Nur Arrows/Footwork hat mehr Rennen ohne einen Sieg bestritten. Es dauerte 58 Rennen, bis Minardi in Detroit 1988 den ersten Punkt durch Pierluigi Martini einfahren konnte.In ingesamt 21 Formel-1-Saisons fuhr das Team 38 Punkte ein. Die beste Platzierung waren mehrer vierte Plätze.

Dennoch konnte sich Minardi als Talentschmiede etablieren. Unter anderem griffen ins Lenkrad:
Fernando Alonso, Mark Webber, Giancarlo Fisichella, Jarno Trulli, Justin Wilson, Jos Verstappen, Michele Alboretto, Pierluigi Martini, Anthony Davidson

Drivers: Alonso, Webber, Fisichella, Davidson, Trulli, alot of other well-known drivers.

You know, I didn't get why Minardi was much beloved till I went to my first race Indianapolis. During the practice days I found out really quickly why they were universally beloved. Every other team had a massive veil of security and secrecy around their cars, and here was Minardi not only letting people into the garage but actually showing people what their computers did, touch the car, putting the youngsters behind the wheel, friendliest bunch at the track

And yes, the espresso was fantastic.

Well done! I miss Minardi. They will always be my favorite formula 1 team. I was lucky enough to see them score points in person at Indianapolis in 2005.
