@sethzilliano Awesome. I have vibration turned off right now so I'll be sure to keep it off in 2.1 as well. I wanna upgrade to 2.1 now but sorta wanna wait for the OTA update to come out just in case I run into any problems. They need to release it already.

To get the space bar back in the keyboard when searching, just press the soft search button to toggle back and forth.

Does 2.1 get rid of the lag on the keyboard while you text? I still have 1.5 and my Eris can't seem to keep up with how fast I type. Thanks!

In my experience, it's MUCH faster. However, with the feedback (vibration) on, it does still lag. Thankfully, it seems to pick up all your keypresses, though, so if it starts lagging, just keep typing, and it'll still get almost all of it.
Or turn off the vibration, and it works with no lag at all.

OMG how do i get my Eris to do that, is this all done with 1.5 OS or 2.1 leak

@nomunk78 It's the 2.1 leak. Go look up the installation guide on XDA or AndroidForums.
