to those having trouble:

I suffered the same for a couple of minutes. then i did the following.

installed the pocket wifi drivers

1) disconnect pocket wifi from your PC's USB port.

2) make sure the pocket wifi is on

3) reconnect to USB (choose a different one if possible)

4) wait for your PC to detect it and select autorun.

5) or open my computer, browse the pocket wifi and select autorun

6) wait a min; device drivers are being installed,

7) keep the device connected and follow the unlock step

Hi, the website was taken down and I need to unlock my device...can someone please send me a copy of the program to unlock my e585 pocket wifi 2 device.

I clicked on the link, downloaded the info program, and tried to download the hauwei reader program. I was then greeted with a message the the "megadownloads" had been taken down, and its operators charged with rackteering and money laundering. Damnit. I wanted this done already. Thanks anyway man

can any sim from a phone provider work in a unlocked wifi device or are there specific sim card to get for mobile broadband? i have a pocket wifi but wanna to change to a even cheaper affordable. do they charge to unlock devices
