Its funny seeing this commercial three years later, after TiVo is basically gone from the industry and the large TV providers have adopted their own forms.

Haa haa. Tivo successfully sued the makers of the DISH DVR for about $104 million plus interest over patent infringement. Too bad these DVRs out on the market will soon cease to work and that its manufacturer is going bankrupt. Hardly better than Tivo.

It is better than DIRECTVs HD-DVR. But its definitely NOT better than Tivo!

Believe me, this is not better than TiVo. It might be better than the old TiVo but the current TiVo is way ahead.
