Finally, a performance where I can hear the tune in the violas without the damned 2nd vlns drowning it out. There is a chorale tune in here called Rhosymedre and seldom can you hear it until the 1st violins play it an octave higher than anyone else. The tune is important. Purpose of a prelude is to introduce the tune to the congregation. If they can't hear it what;s the point? Thought this was a very good performance for amateur group.
