Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3: KRISPY!

Now I could've sworn there were a few high quality videos here on YT featuring the "KRISPY!" egg in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and now I can't find any of them for some reason. Hey, might as well upload my own, right?

So here, Scorpion kills "himself" in the lava pit stage, but thanks to extra button presses (holding down both players' RUN and HP buttons during the fatality), Shao Kahn and Dan "Toasty" Forden have a joke at the victim's expense.

Holding down both Run buttons summons the voice of Shao Kahn (popular pinball designer Steve Ritchie), holding down both HP buttons summons Dan Forden, and when you do both, you get both.

Lol can someone explain to me why there is frosty, toasty and krispy? its fuckin funny but id like to know why they done it

@TheRapResurrection There's a video where Dan himself explains how Toasty came to be (watch?v=pRFMgHBNA5Y) and I imagine Frosty and Krispy were made because of how popular Toasty became.

"Toasty" was just a random quote Dan Forden always said as a taunt whenever he played against Ed Boon. They threw that quote in the game as a in-joke type of thing (the developers never really took Mortal Kombat too seriously, hence the many in-jokes in the game)

Eventually, this lead to the creation of "Frosty" and "Krispy". Interestingly, both "Toasty" and "Frosty" are references to two of the series' most iconic characters: Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
