  • The first one would be tought to do in MMA anyway because there is no jackt to get a grip for the reversal. What would not be legal?? All those subs are legal. I also like the knee compression on a guy in turtle, but there are many reversals to that one...tough to pull off on more advanced guys...but still an old classic.

  • Thanks guys!

  • @tenguxeroz i was thinking you could put your hand under the butt for the first one and for the second one grabb the armpit area and under the butt also

  • I you tried it no-gi (grabbing by the shorts) you'd give the guy a wedgie. Probably not allowed in MMA, except maybe for UFC 'cos it would add to the entertainment ...

  • With all due respect sir, I would like to know where you are headquartered so I can challenge you to a match. Great work by the way.

  • First of all: Great work

My question is what would be good options to make both of these work with no gi

    Thank you

  • great ideas, the first one, though I've never seen it used, I don't think is legal in alot of actual MMA torurnaments. Also the cross body takes alot of upper-strengtdsince you are not working a dead-angle. I find the knee compression works great in a turtle, simply reach cross fody, find the knee, and sweep down, inside the legs, towards teh feet and compress the joint or roll the body.

  • man dude this sambo steve guy is a really good teacher!

  • thanks sambosteve!

  • Pretty damn cool! Thanks sambosteve.
