(Fake) Power Rangers : Advent of Zedd movie trailer

A long time request by many and also a movie I wouldn't mind seeing.
This was an interesting challenge I set myself: make a Power Rangers trailer without using footage from the original movie or the television.
I was (still am somewhat) a big fan of this series I grew up with. You'll understand just how much when you see the last scene I chose to close off the trailer!
Besides...who doesn't love that rocking theme music?

The story concept here is an investigation of the histories of Zordon and Lord Zedd; the major mentor and antagonist of the original Power Rangers series. Both are aliens, both are bound by a continual war on opposite sides. But how did Zordon wind up as a big floating head in a tube? How did Lord Zedd end up with an exposed brain in a suit of armor that sustains his life? I personally think the story wouldn't be a prequel since the new rangers should be new people, but there could be sections of the film devoted to looking into the reasons behind the rise of Zedd to power, the meaning of The Rangers, and the history of Zordon woven into the overall narrative.

A modern day Rangers movie could be really fun. Imagine if instead of just a uniform the power suits were actually sophisticated battle armor. Imagine a Zord fight that was graceful and quick, possibly moving from the ground to air as it progresses. Imagine a franchise movie that actually had the courtesy to include the original theme in it (I'm looking at you Transformers!)

Thats as far as I got with the rangers.

And I'd like to see James McAvoy as Zordon, and instead of a face in a tube he could be a full body hologram. Also the film under J.J. Abrams' direction.

i think that ur trailer is so awesome!  what i like most about it was that unlike other people u used suits from other movies which made it more modern, high-tech, and so much cooler!

really good. Brings back lots of memories. But would be much better without the vocals in the song, which IMO quite spoiled the atmosphere.
