The tractor trailer seems to be empty and appears to be moving at about 45 mph... I would suggest that, when responding in a wet environment, the safety space between the accident scene and the response vehicle be increased by a few feet from now on.
The empty weight of the truck is about 31,000 pounds, but if we could recreate the same setting but use a fully loaded rig of 80,000 pounds, I believe there would be enough mass to push the firetruck into the accident.

You have it right on the nose spikehornslayer64. I've been a Volunteer Firefighter for 31 years, a driver for about 25, and when we respond to any Interstate Highway call, the truck is replaceable, fire, ambulance and State PD come first!
