Around 10:00 AM during a severe thunderstorm, the sky opened up and rained baseball size hail stones on us at the Regional Airport in Manhattan Kansas. There were about 100 cars parked in the lot and not one of them escaped without hail damage.

This video was taken looking out the front doors of Kansas Air Center.

  • billscnb, sorry to hear about the car. I saw it monday before I took off from the airport. We left about 30 minutes before it hit. I had the black camaro ss that was out there.

  • Damn shame about the camaro too.

  • I was there for it all, other side of town though. Where were you filming exactly?

  • I was standing in the doorway of Kansas Air Center at Manhattan Airport.

  • what the hell?!

  • At the 13 second mark in the video you can see a softball size hail roll/bounce by from left to right.
