It took a while for Decca Records to put this song over, but when they finally did, it went to #3 in the nation during June of 1959. Carl Dobkins, Jr., a Cincinnati native, recorded the song in the famed Owen Bradley studios in Nashville, the same studio which produced the bulk of Patsy Cline's and Brenda Lee's hits.
Came home from the hairdressers and found myself humming this song.. don't know why! Then had to find it to hear the whole song again lol I was 8 when this hit #3 on the charts! Some of these old songs are timeless :)
