An original rock instrumental in my, er, idiom. The slide thing is my DIY lapsteel gourdtar... kind of a fretless mountain dulcimer I built from a giant gourd (see http://michael.futreal.com/gourdtar ) -- or something like that, at any rate.

And yep, one of those electric guitars is built from an oil can. It's an "Afri-can" from http://www.townshipguitars.com/ (no association of mine, so I can't help you).
