The 4th Annual Watermelon Festival was held on August 12, 2010 at Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head. Seed spitting contests, watermelon bowling, face painting, dunk tank, tie dye station, bounce house, slides and many other family activities drew in big crowds. All proceeds from the festival benefitted Wright Flight, a local non-profit charity for Dare County children.
