Brewfest 101 - Ram Racing '09 (Alliance)

The trick here is to stay at a full Gallop. There are 2 barrels of apples on the way to Flynn Firebrew. You shouldn't need to use the second barrel on the way back. You receive 2 tokens for ever barrel you return. Speed is of the utmost importance if you want to make the most out of this quest. If you miss a barrel of apples, turn around quickly and tag it before continuing on.

The path she doing is the quickest line, but it also poses the most risk. By the time you get back to the bushel closest to the brewfest grounds again, your ram is around 85-95% exhausted. The slightest error when doing this line makes the difference from hitting the bushel, or exhausting your ram.

Another danger is that sometimes you do not tag the barrel when running by, and you only have about a second to correct it before the ram gets exhausted it if it fails to sense the barrel.

Do you still play Asheron's Call? (I guess your whole allegiance must've moved to WoW by now.)

I haven't played in almost two years. I don't know many people from my allegiance who migrated to WoW and those that did, do not play on the same server. Asheron's Call is still a great game with an awesome backstory, but what has changed is the community. I still follow the game, but I don't play anymore.

This isn't quite the fastest route. When you're heading towards Kharanos just before the second barrel you should run between the large brown tree and the small white one and pass by the barrel on the right. Also on the way back you can take a more direct route to the barrel by running straight up the cliff face, it looks like you can't run up it but you can just fine.

You can turn around quicker if you rotate your camera by dragging the screen with a left mouse click as you approach the keg/turn in, then tapping right click as soon as you're within range of either. For the keg tosser he detects at ~15 yards or so, and the turn in as soon as you pass that final brewfest banner on your left if you take the route shown here.

This is a multi-user account. I try to delete all non-AC content after it has run it's course, but from time to time there will be non-AC videos.
