"New Work Miami 2010" Exhibition Opening Celebration at Miami Art Museum

Nearly 1,000 artists, collectors, art leaders and Miami residents celebrated the opening of Miami Art Museum's exhibition "New Work Miami 2010," a snapshot of the local art community featuring new works by approximately 35 local artists. The opening featured a performance by the TM Sisters, spoken word poetry & music by Oscar Fuentes and the Gipsy Catz, and a live radio segment by the Talking Head Transmitters.

The opening kicked-off a high-energy, summer's worth of after-hours events, gallery talks and artist performances in conjunction with the exhibition. For the schedule or information visit miamiartmuseum.org.
