Although the commercial is funny as hell, any New Yorker will tell you that it's not just the high-gluten flour that makes NY pizza so great; it's the water in NYC. They have extremely strict standards for the city's drinking water, and that amazing water is what makes pizza (and most other baked goods) so great in NYC. They even tested it on "Food Detectives" with water from other US regions, and the New Yorkers could automatically tell which pizza was made with the NYC water.
