Geoff and I flew in up to 25 knot winds all day. Ole Mate Nudge was there and shot video and took pics. We had a great day. Here is a Metro Launch System Pre-rotator Take-Off with the wind at a little over 15 knots (check windsock at the 39 second marker) later in the afternoon. Earlier I got 280, repeated it, then 290 rotor rpm prior to take-off on this particluar run.
Went flying again this morning and in nil wind conditions pulled ... 310 rrpm, WITH HEAVY COMPOSITE BLADES weighing 75 lbs.
