This is an amazing short film of the shores of New York coast in stunning, pristine Full 1080p HD at 24p. This video features remarkable shots of the ocean waves in slow motion, cinematic resolution, film style quality and feel, and more. This film was shot by HiiDefinition with the Canon Vixia HF S21 along with a wide angle lens converter, model WD-H58. I also used a couple of filters to enhance the picture. This video also shows how the ordinary shots can be turned into the up most extraordinary with color correction and proper cinematic aspect ratio. All the slow motion shots were captured at 60i, and then the frame rate was cut in half to create slow motion images. I edited this video in Final Cut Pro 7, and I distorted each clip by negative 33% to give the proper 2.35:1 aspect ratio. • question so on the four corners of the screen i see dark spots is that because of the camrea hood

  • The vignette is a digital effect commonly found in many editing programs; the raw footage has absolutely no vignetting.

  • The vignette on the edges appear like the ones you see when Magic Bullet "Blockbuster" look is slapped on a video, but not tweaked.

  • I used the Final Cut Pro stock plugin for the vignette effect. Nothing special, but the entire film was color corrected and graded with stock plugins. I didn't even have Magic Bullet at the time.

  • I am looking for a wide angle lens and they always say with macro lens. What is that?

  • Macro lenses give the ability to focus on objects that are centimeters away from the camera's lens. Normally a camcorder wouldn't be able to focus on really close subjects, however this lens gives this ability.

  • Hi man. I have a question to you: could you do a simple tutorial how to do texts like that, in your video? I cant found guides. please, im new enter for Premiere...

  • Looks really good! When shooting in 24p what shutter speed did you use? I have the Canon XA10 and I can't seem to get my pans or zooms to look that smooth.

  • all looks great!! Question: what are the best aperture and/or shutter settings i should be using for filming video that I'll turn into slow motion later? (I have an hf s10)

  • Outstanding!
