FLDS Church elder moves to replace Warren Jeffs

Jailed polygamous sect leader Warren Jeffs may no longer have control of his southern Utah-based church after a senior leader on Monday moved to replace him.

Replace Warren Jeffs?...IMO - Kinda hard to do since there's NOT too many self-appointed "Perverted Prophets", walking the streets, to choose from. (sigh) Men like Warren, who hear voices, are mostly committed to Insane Asylums, under heavy doses of medication to make the voices go away. But I did see the cops arresting a man the other day,,,claiming he was "the Reincarnation of the Blessed Virgin Mary". Maybe he should send a resume in to claim Warren's job. ( jus a thought )

@Not2Sane I didn't say your parents told you had to wait until marrige, I said it was what your parents would have wished, if your family does not believe in marrige that is fine. I do not judge you as immoral at all, I am sure your parents taught you the value of waiting for the right time, place, and person, and to respect your body. The LDS still practice spiritual polygamy. A man can still be sealed to more than one wife for eternity but can only be married to one wife at a time (due to the law). For example if a man remarries & gets sealed to his second, third, fourth wife, etc then he will have all his wives in the Celestial kingdom of heaven. Plus the LDS do sealings for the dead. The LDS are marrying dead people so that they can be their husbands or wives in the Celestial Kingdom. This is really sickening...

@onecocobunny4u My parents never once told me that I had to wait until Marriage. They would laugh at that idea. They wanted me to wait until I was old enough and responsible enough to make the decision for myself. I was taught to base my life around human reasoning and equality, and I assure you that my morals are more sound and beneficial to society then those of most Christians.

@Not2Sane I'm sure your parents would have rather you waited until marrige to become sexually active, what parents wish for and having the conversation about options in the event that their child decideds to become sexually active are different. I do not want my child to have sex, but if he does I want him to be informed on how to protect himself. Your parents informing you of how to protect yourself does not mean they want you to have sex I can assure you if you are under age they don't.

My parents were loving and they didn't want me to wait until marriage. They gave me the knowledge needed to practice safe sex. You can't control human biology as much as you may want to.

@NOSERPICOINUTAH there were droughts in Texas almost every year long before Warren Jeffs was arested and procsecuted for his crimes against humanity. In USA we don't tolarate sexual abuse of minors from anyone anyone found participating in it will face the same consequence as Jeffs. I know you've been told that "wordly" people condone sex with teens, but it is not true. Any loving parent wants their child to wait until they are married as an adult & protects and monitors their children.
