Earth Day, on board the HMS Queen Mary ship in Long Beach, California.
April 22, 1993. Coming from the group "Trapeze" Glenn Hughes (bass/vocals) joined Deep Purple in 1973 along with David Coverdale (vocals), after Roger Glover (bass) and Ian Gillan (vocals) left the group. The next album "Burn" hardly made a noticeable change in Deep Purple's hard rock sound.
Here, Glenn performs a song that became a hit in 1964 when The Animals recorded a version of the song.

This is great!
Just think calling Glenn Hughes the lead singer of Deep Purple is a bit off. This was 17 years after he left DP and he was never the LEAD singer. But lets not get hung up on stuff like that with great music like this presented here. Thanks for uploading!

Why so angry? Did you want me to give the whole story that the oldest recorded version is by Clarence "Tom" Ashley and Gwen Foster in 1933? And that Roy Acuff recorded it in 1938 and Woody Guthrie in 1948 etc. etc... Since the arrangement and lyrics can be different in the song versions and I only know the Animal's version and that Bob Dylan gave himself the writing credits on his album. If you know the actual person who wrote the song, why don't you tell me... Ok, I'm paying attention.

And besides, I didn't say that Bob Dylan wrote the song - I said here Glenn Hughes performs a 1962 Bob Dylan song, so why didn't you pay attention?
