Of course not. He is just a classic psychopath and one who is not very skilled at hiding his pathology.
It is all there though: Projection, Narcisscism, Arrogance, Gaslight and the Obsession with Cancer and finding people triggers (mother, medications).
Read the book Puzzling People: the Labyrinth of the Psychopath - Dimitri will fall off every page. 1 in 22 people are like this guy to some degree. Insane predators.
