I went through 3 laptops in 4 years.
2005 HP ZE2000
Late 2006 White MacBook
2009 Unibody MacBook Pro
I only had the HP a year because it gave me way to much trouble.
While searching for a better PC i found Mac.

In the past 3 years ive had a HP DV6000, year after i got a white macbook then 2 weeks ago i got myself the new 15'' Macbook Pro, does that mean im filthy rich/

Im 18 and work 32 hours a week at a rate of £6.24 an hour so i come out with a nice wage at the end of the month, i save and work.
Just like Kevin said hes saving for a couch so put aside the whole laptop senario.

Because IBM thinkpad is a old piece of crap, and the black macbook's logicboard failed so he got the macbook pro that his sister paid for half, then he got a macbook pro unibody using some money from Christmas..

No, not everyone does. We all don't have a money tree in our backyard to be blowing on a new laptop every time we get tired of our old ones, or want a newer look.
