This scene was MUCH better than the torture scene because here Bond truly looked as if he was in trouble after being poisoned and we can feel sorry for him but in the torture scene he didnt look or sound as if he was in agonising pain enough for us to feel sorry for him as many people laughed at that.

If James Bond would've been American, he would look Le Chiffre straight in the eyes after he'd found out he's poisoned, and he would've said something like "You fucking snake...". XD

That's right. But when someone is poisoned with something that will kill them in less than a few minutes, calling an ambulance is futile. And CPR won't work in this case.

But in most cases, your actions could save someone's life. As most people aren't poisoned deliberately during a high-stakes poker game!
