Shortly after buying their dream home, an Idaho husband and wife discovered that it was infested with thousands of garter snakes. For the next three months, their growing family lived as if in a horror movie. (June 15)

  • id buy the house then like, turn it into a snake museum or somehting lol, although i wouldnt do anything to it lol

  • This can happen easier than one thinks, though seldom does infestation reach the proportions show here. What you have to really watch out for is any cracks in a house foundation or sidewalks, that let snakes gain entry. Especially in the summer when it gets hot, snakes like to get under concrete slabs. What they really like is to get under the concrete slab under your garage or utility room.

  • BURN THE HOUSE

  • snakes are cool

    all other insects arent

  • They call it the snake house, oh how original

  • @AtarahDerek only a fing idiot loser like you would care what i said get a job a life and a wife and jst maybe u wont spend all your time watching what other comments say!!

  • @AtarahDerek

Oh, ok. Lived in a tropical forest for a while. Was visited by many animal species in the beginning, poisonous ones included. Just adapted to the situation, never left the door open, checked for cracks and holes around the house and closed them. Finally a single musquito slipped in when I entered the house. Had a way to catch those and had zero probs since then. Them being in your drinking water is more difficult.

  • @bigolodibilo00 I like most snakes. Garters, not so much. They stink. My favorites are actually the venomous snakes, especially the pit vipers. I doubt they have much of a scent to them at all.

Pit vipers--animals that can literally see heat. How cool is that? I'd love to have that for a superpower.

  • @owned0110 It's probably on well water, and snake feces soaks through the ground into the aquifer. That's why the water had feces in it (that's what the taste was).

  • @bjozsef45 Garters have a very distinctive musk. It smells like butt. The water tasted like garters smell.

Garter feces also carries parasites like tapeworm.
