Finally, someone mentioned the SD card slot (Visible at 00:33). I've been waiting for somebody on YouTube to finally mention it.

The OLPC News forums had some hacks to get it working. There is a bug with it running YouTube videos in highquality instead of lowquality. Also the MP3 support was stripped for copyright algorithm issues, but can be recompiled to support it (since its similar to ogg's) the youtube issues will be in future patches :)

As soon as I get my I will not be using the sugar, it suck. I'll go puppy all the way. with Puppy you got: Firefox (full version) VLC + Mplayer + Xine stream or download podcast all IM + Skype stream online divx video in firefox (I can do that) Stream or download large Veoh videos without the veohtv (I can do that) Editing video Well you can say I know how do almost everything I want with Puppy Linux ( without ever use any coding and stuff) See why i'll choose to run Puppy on the OLPC? lol

Yeah Puppy Linux "Dingo" looked really promising (its already working on the Classmate) Linpus Lite also looked like something cool. OLPC News reported that a lot of people are having "flash video" playback issues under Sugar currently (very choppy I guess). :(

Nokia n800 came with lower Mhz and it still play mp3 and all that.
If got a good small Os and media player on the device, your media will play just fine.
I am going to put puppy linux or xfce on my
Wow, at 433Mhz I didn't think it could do MP3's! ... what about streaming media like YouTube? Thank you for posting this video :)

it's actually an ogg file.
From the home page that opens up in the browser, go to media, then music, then click the provided file. It kicked off the application autogmatically.
I haven't been able to get youtube working yet, but probably will with some updates.
