i started playing piano 2 years ago, while i know my chords and some bass lines i feel like i've been "wasting" time just being scattered. I thank you mr assaf for being my "piano teacher" now. I've learned more in just watching your "basic" classes than i learned in the previous 2 years . I'm sure when you learned you didnt have the advantage of youtube and had to learn the old fashioned way by hard work/practice. One million thank you's from chicago
Wow Mr. Assaf!!! I have learned more with you in 10minutes of your lesson on building triad-major and minor chords..than when I went to piano class w a live teacher!!! The techer had me so bored to death...that even tho I paid $200 in full..after the 3rd class..I had to bail-out. He rushed his course and was boreing as a rock! You..have the nack and the skill and Ultimately the Pateince and somehow..u keep me informed and at a slow pace and you keep my attention. May "God"Bless your works Assaf
Yeah you're right, but since you're talking about the the 8th and 7th,6th,5th ect in there too. I just thought it a easyier if they already know the scale, the concept work the same too.
@Aphablueforce that is more so for scales than intervals. Scales are made up of semitones, true, but when just doing intervals, you do half and whole steps, or "semitones" But what do I know
Rather then remenbering the how many semi tone, know the scales, you know there are 8 note in a scale, you number each of the individual note, you get the same 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ect until you reach the octave which is the 8th note also, which is the octave. It work on every scale.
