My own personal tribute to Maddie Blaustein 1960-2008 She was a big part of my childhood. Her character brought me alot of laughs and I grew up with the TV Show (Pokemon) that she helped make famous. Rest In Peace Miss Blaustein

wow...she was an amazing voice over/actor. Coincidentally, yesterday, i was cleaning out my attic and i had found a comic book that she had personally signed for me. I will always keep this comic book in tribute of Maddie. Rest in Peace Maddie <3

I'm crying so much right now, I only just found out that she's dead and I'm devastated. She was everything I want to be... voice actress, comic book artist... and like you said, she was a huge part of my childhood too... she was so incredibly multi-talented. We'll miss you, Maddie... thank you for being so amazing :)

I don't think it was common knowledge or publicly known that she was a male to female transgender. I mean, I'm sure all the soccer moms would have had one of their usual overreactions to their kids getting the slightest bit of exposure to something "out of the ordinary".

@knightforce01 Maddie was a male to female transgender and her birth name was Adam Blaustein (she used to go by the name Addie Blaustein) - her brother is Jeremy Blaustein. Hope that helps.

But jesus, I never knew she died until a few days ago. She was a brilliant voice actress like.

I still can't believe this at all, i mean....it's been a few years since she's no longer with us, but she's ALIVE in OUR hearts and mine. Forever and ever.

I've always dreamt of meeting her, interviewing her, and at least an autograph or at least a hug. :(

I didn't know she passed away until earlier this morning when I was watching Dinosaur King and it said "dedicated in memory of Maddie Blaustein" and I was like aw, she was good.
