Today there will be the proclamation of the Queen Elisabeth Competition. I hope Tae-Hyung Kim will get the first prize, the Brahms concerto he played this friday was simply the most beautiful version I've ever heard. And the way he touches the piano is very natural, not artificial like many other pianists in this competition.
Is the Rachmaninoff being played by TH? Well the video obviously is playing something else probably rehearsing Beethoven's piece but, what about this Rachmaninoff piece? It is unbelievably rich and beautiful. I can't believe what I am listening.
Beethoven No.5 is either the name of this festival he's playing at or his nickname or some such thing. Sorry my Korean sucks, but it's on the website they advertise at the end of the vid.
