Timmins Police issued an AMBER ALERT during the early morning hours of January 5, 2012, after 1-year-old Kara Johnson and 3-year-old Aiden Johnson were allegedly abducted by his 34-year old father, Zachary Johnson in Northern Ontario, the AMBER ALERT has since ended after two children were found safe and sound hours later that day in North Bay and his father was arrested with abduction charges pending.

The vehicle he had been driving has been located broken down in Timmins, according to police, who believed he was headed to Ottawa, Nova Scotia or Saint Sauveur des Monts, Quebec.
