@lightspeedtooslow In fact THIS is the original version. The one you know was remade in 1999. You can tell this was the original by the demented sound effects and the lack of color.

I got it on PS3 network about 2 months ago or so. Its harder than the original . Enemies did not always transform when they "intermingled". I used to be able to get to level 11 (level 5 ) on the old one. I can't for the life of me get past level 10 now (level 7...). ...being backed in a corner with 5 hobbins coming like a fleet of ships.
My high score on PS3 Network is 77,000

This version of digger is tweaked so you earn a life after 1000 or 2000 points. You can change it though with the easy to use editor included in this version. Normally, you gain a life after 20.000 points.
