Preah Khan "HOLY SWORD" Temple is located near the North Gate of the ruins of Angkor Thom, near Angkor Wat. It was built in the 12th century by King Jayarvaran VII for over 100,000 officials and their servants. It is a Buddhist sanctuary now, but was built in honor of the Hindu Gods. The North is dedicated to both Shiva and Vishnu. The West is dedicated to Vishnu, while the East is to the entire Hindu Trinity: Brahma, Shiva, and Vishnu. The West is devoted to Krishna. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy!
