  • I like how Ric smiles when an audience member does the background vocals part. Epic.

  • RIP Ben Orr. Thank you for posting. I think we might be OK with Ric doing his thing. Not Ben, But I can see it working...

  • He sounds like the Bob Dylan of new wave music.

  • hey ric your style is similar to buddy holly thanks

  • @enolaniaga It has more than 4 barre chords. Synths aren't acoustic so one couldn't do an acoustic version with synths. It's his song... he can do with it what he wants to. The day that you write your own "hits", sell albums and concerts, I guess you will have the right to play your stuff as you see fit too. That day won't come though, so I guess here you will sit, farting out your opinion about people who have succeeded.

  • @snorkelbda03 My feelings exactly. Back in the day, if I had ever had a chance to interview Ric with or without his bandmates, one of the things I wanted to ask him was "How do you go about writing songs?" I'd love to hear the story behind "Touch and Go."

  • Just awesome to see this..Ric was always so cool. Glad they decided to reunite and release Move Like This. Would have been really awesome to see what could have happened had Ben still been alive. I am sure we would have got a full reunion.

  • @enolaniaga This is far from boring. Its a glimpse at a talented singer/songwriter and allows us to see how he might have sat down for the other Cars and played a tune for the first time to them, so that they could all add their creative input to eventually come to the classic recording we know. Any musician with 'foresight' loves this kind of rare recording.

  • very bland/boring. Bad idea to try and do a acoustic version of a rock song that only has 4 bar chords. Without the backing vocals, drums, synths , this version is forgettable.

  • Sounds like he's imitating Kate Bush's inflections!

  • It's funny I know the song was writen by Ric but not sorry I like Ben's version for me is best.
