Nicotine Love (inspired by the movie MONSTER)

So after i saw the touching dramamovie MONSTER, which is one of my favorite movies, i felt like that jewels nicotine love realy fits to this movie and should have been on that moviescore/OST. So I tried to combine the feelings of the movie with the song, i hope that you dont missunderstand that movie, because i took all these "brutalscences", i just feel very emotional with aileens story, not that i support her murdering, but feel very sympathatetic with her. So this musicvideo is just a little experiment, hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think about it!

This song wasn't inspired by the movie. It was inspired by the same story the movie was based on, though. I first heard this song back in 1996 and it has been one of my very favorite Jewel songs since. It has a dark, moody feel and it's very beautiful at the same time. Her voice is flawless in this song. Great video. I love this movie and Aileen her story. I have seen the movie so many times and I just can't believe it, everything that happend... And ofcourse, I dont realy support her murdering, but maybe it was self defense? I dont know what to believe... Cool video! 5/5 Stars.

Good video I liked this movie it became one of my favourites too..I just felt like Aileen never had her happy ending, I turned really emotional whit the end of the movie because as if not enough she's sended to jail and her girlfriend ended up hating her practically u.u

The cops do play a sick game with us mentals. They think its fun to watch us go off and let us go over and over. I was completely in a psychotic break in 2005, blacked out and driving. No drugs or alcohol at all, I ran over several lights and things on a sidewalk downtown, they let me go and within an hour I had totalled the van and was unresponsive in an intersection. It wasn't until then they took me to a hospital for help.

I have been so close to being her so many times. Similar childhood, not hooking but hitching all over America for 3 years at 17-21, back in 1980-1984. One man that tried to rape me, I left laying there. I still don't care if I killed him or not. I have borderline personality disorder. Just found out Ailene did too. I watched her final words...sounded right from my head sometimes. It's damned hell to live with, you wake up some days almost like a trance of rage and obsession.
