@kazak4x4 , Both are in the Room. Harold is dancing with the turquoise "Chupacabra" which flipped two days prior and is still circling the Room. Better luck next time!
Glad to hear that the "Goat-sucker" found it's way home..... ;)

@rjerney , Finally got it back below Dewey Bridge. Got back most of the bags. Not the watershed with camping gear tho. Whom ever came across it said, "SCORE!" The raft is ready to go again. Just trying to get the cash together for some more oars. I would really like a copy of this vid if possible.

Rich1327, I helped get Harold's NRS out of the room. I'm really curious about what you guys had to do to get your boat out. It was pretty late & getting dark when we got ours out so working on yours was out of the question, although we did get some of your dry bags on shore (VERY heavy) Please share the details of your story.

We did get our boat back. Yes , it is the same one in the room with Harold. I'll have it back on the water buy June. Thanks for throwing our bags on the shore. Two have been recovered so far. Hope Harold was Ok!

I don't get it. Which boat was stuck in the RoD? The NRS or the one that entered as Harold was coming out? Did Harold hike to the NRS boat and try to get it out or was he pushed into RoD after skull? We need details! :)
So much talk on the Buzz and no solid info on the boat that was in RoD for a week.
Sorry, it was dark when we hit Cisco. We couldn't see 15 feet, and rowed about a mile in pitch black. Our slow start that morning, and our long lunch made it (unfortunately) impossible for us to do anything with the poor, abandoned boat. We lost ours and writes it Saturday about 3.5 miles below the Cisco boat ramp. It was hung up on a weed island. Um.. right.

When we flipped our boat over and Harold started to row it out, the Turquiose boat was just making another circle in the eddy. It had been doing that same thing for 2 days at that point. That was Friday. We recovered Saturday, and went back through the canyon on Sunday. We only saw a cooler, a disconnected lid, and a couple of dry bags left of that poor old boat. We did, however, drag about full bags of gear up the bank that are likely still sitting under some overhangs just behind the room.

Sure thing. Heres's the deal- It's my belief that the room is really sticky at around 10,000. - When we launched the ranger told us there was a Turquoise boat in the room. We flipped one in Funnel, and decided to write it after skull. It went through, then I came down and said "Oh, there's 2 boats in there. Oh wait, our boat's in there." We eddied out just above Sock-it-to-me", and hiked back. We wanted to flip get the Turquoise boat back over but the ropes were everywhere, and it was late.
