Patriot's Point at Charleston Harbor in South Carolina. Confederate batteries firing at Fort Sumter on the Sesquicentennial of the opening of the War of Northern Aggression. There was one spotlight shining from Fort Sumter directly up into the night sky, at 0430, the light split into two beams, signifying the split of the nation.

Be forever proud of our history, never misunderstand, misinterpret, or misrepresent the war and the cause for which our ancestors fought. Honor them for fighting and dying for their beliefs and their right to believe.
