Stargate universe needs to continue! this is the greatest show ever! why would syfy cancel a show of such high quality?

@IGNsucks the only thing stargate from the show was a set prop the actual stargate. you know exactly what i mean soap opera down time, I do not give a fuck about Eli's mom or the captions wife. Chloe's friends, focusing stones alone killed the show. The Civi/military problem. WTF was the point of that other then ripping BSG, all those civis are government contracted employees who worked along side the military before Destiny, they still follow orders from earth whats the prob.

@IGNsucks I do not have a problem with change, J.J Abrams brought change with the new trek movie, I do not really like the change but respect his ideas. SGU was purely made by executives to pick up BSG fans, I could go on with the blunt similarities but wont bother. Like I said before they should have spent more time fine tuning it they should have created its own identity. Maybe more of a high bird BSG/SG feel. Keep the main plot and cast but trash the soap opera down time.

If you want three plus shows of the same damn thing go watch Star Trek oh wait you cant cause Enterprise got cancelled CAUSE IT WAS THE SAME FUCKING THING AS VOYAGER, TNG AND DSN. anyone who thought they were going to do the same thing for the third time is a moron. They changed it up made it different and guess what if worked for me anyway. I liked all the characters

@Baseshocks Being able to reprogram alien technology with ease might be something you can get away with on a light episodic show like Atlantis, but not on a high concept character drama built on a modicum of realism like SGU. The very basic discovery of the friend or foe command was pushing it as it is, without going full-retard Dr Who style.
