This 2005 Best Picture Winner's depiction of Los Angeles race relations features an Iranian family in one of the interlocking storylines. This is fitting considering the large Iranian and Iranian-American population of L.A. that refer to the town as "Tehrangeles."

This is a horrible depiction of Iranian people. Although I think the movie was good overall, it did not do justice in representing the Iranian population. Iranians aren't quick to pick fights and argue like this.

most people say this movie sucked and badmouth it when in reality they are disgusted at the fact that this movie points out the ugly truth that is our society. I could care less about the Oscars, but for all who bring it up, then I will say this...it WON, and deserved the awards.

1) I am not stupid.
2) The original reason for purchasing the gun was for protecting his store against robbery.
3) He later used the gun for that (not his original idea, he didn't even know the locksmith at that point...)
