@abbiefromMI Books to read: 1) Some of the other religious texts other than the bible...as a matter of fact, odds are you haven't read the entire bible....read that and then tell me how informative it is. 2) The Origin of Species 3) The tree of life 4) A Brief History of Time 5) The God Delusion 6) The Epoch of Gilgamesh (the original noah's arc myth) 7) A grade 9 science book (because clearly you have some doubts about the age of the planet. 8) Einsteins theory of relativity.

@abbiefromMI Ice core analysis, carbon dating, radiometric dating, the light that travels from some of the most distant stars has been traveling towards this region of space since before Earth was even formed. These are facts with plenty of valid academic proof behind them. And interesting that you say the fiction section doesn't cut it, considering many fictional books contain more truth than even the oldest desert nomad book of myths (ie: The Bible, The Qur'an, The Torah, Book of the Dead etc.
