Scrapbooking Haul from Michaels and Ross

hi nice haul. I have a question on your mini albums you said you like putting pics in them. But my concern is how do you do that since the minis are so small what size pics do you use for that? and how safe is that to incorparate pics in minis if they arent picture protected? im a beginner so i have many questions.

AF0093 ... Not sure if you have seen any of my other video's. Be sure to check them out and you'll see how I incorporate photos into my mini books. Yes, some of my mini's are quite small, but I just print my own pictures from my computer and adjust the size. I usually use 2x3 / 3x3 / or 4x6 photo's. If you are worried about your photo's not being protected by a page protector, don't use your originals, make copies/print your own, and use only products that are acid free. Good luck! -Leslie

Wow!  After seeing your haul, I wanted to go to Michaels, but it's going on 8:30pm. Michaels closes at 9. :( I can't wait to go tomorrow though. You got some great stuff!!

Hearing you talk about your boys and holes in their pants reminded me of a memory of mine from about 18 years ago...lol I dropped my boys off for their little basket ball practice wearing sweat pants. When I picked them up..they both had holes in their knees from sliding on the gym floor! lol

I so relate to your story! My boys are always playing on the floor crawling around with matchbox cars or trains in their hands. Seems like at least a few times a month, my older son comes home from school with exposed knees! lol! I love my boys! They are so fun! Thanks for sharing your story!

I am so copying your gingerbread mini album idea. My sons love to make a gingerbread house every year. Pampered chef has a great gingerbread house cookie sheet.

Steff, you are too funny! I just laughed when I read your comment, yes who would have thought shopping for jeans would have lead me to a scrapbooking haul. (tee -hee!) Did you read the tip on the patches from ggspalapa? Tip #1.

You are so sweet!!! Thank you so much for all your wonderful tips! I am defiantly going to be putting those patches on my boys pants and trying your tip for the pins! I found the metal charms at Michaels down the isle by the garden stone kits. They were kinda hard to find, but they had them hanging really high at the top of the shelving. You get 30 charms for 6.99, but I used my 40% off. Thanks again for all your wonderful tips!
