During his discussion on adaptive reuse of historic structures at LAVA's Sunday Salon on July 25, 2010, Miguel Angel Corzo, President and CEO of the new downtown L.A. cultural institute LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, shared recently unearthed artifacts of 1840s Los Angeles discovered beneath the old street behind the Brunswig Building, off Olvera Street.
