Preisner - Les Marionettes

LES MARIONETTES by Zbigniew Preisner. Music from the film "The Double Life of Veronique".

I took these photos on a foggy day as I walked through our fields. I played this piece with tender hesitation, imitating the gentle, inconsistent movement of fog and my slow and meditative pace. And in part, I played it slowly because of a problem with my right hand, for which I had surgery.

I can now play this at proper tempo and with greater expressiveness, and soon I will make a new video. I hope you enjoy this quiet walk through the fields and oak trees!
